ABOUT ME
Chaitanyabhai Desai, son of late Makrandbhai Desai, one of the key founders of the Jan Sangh in the state and country, was granted the ticket on the Akota seat for the upcoming Vidhansabha Elections. Makrandbhai Desai went on to become the first state president of the BJP and also the state energy minister.
Chaitanyabhai was a corporator for two consecutive terms from 2010 to 2020. His mother Neelaben Desai was one of the proposers for Narendrabhai Modi’s name when he contested from the Vadodara Lok Sabha seat in 2014.
Chaitanyabhai believes in uplifting the society from the ground level and has always served the society by working on-ground on the real problems himself. He has been serving the society from a very young age and was mentored by great minds across his career. His major contribution is towards empowering the youth of the city. He has empowered the sport eco-system of the city by being a part of senior leadership of the Baroda Rifle Club and Baroda District Amature Athletic Association.

Development happens only with the progress of the Youth, and this is the focus of the work I do. I believe in growth of the youth by empowering them in all the possible directions, from education to employment to sports to entrepreneurship to all the positive direction they want to grow in.

A firm and confident representation of the constituency is a necessary factor for a right leader of the community. Right Representation is the key to get the best results from the authorities. A Captain should feel the spirit of the team to represent it at optimum. My approach is to stay committed to this.
